General Terms and Conditions
Registrations and payment must be received at least 48 hours before the event/seminar. Anyone who does not register 48 hours in advance may see their registration refused should the venue not be able to accommodate numbers. As STEP is liable for the total number of attendee reservations announced to the venue, “no shows” will be required to pay in full for the event/seminar.
Cancellations: The written cancellation should be sent to STEP Geneva (secretariat@step-geneva.org) at least three working days before the date of the event/seminar. After this time, cancellations cannot be accepted: only cancellations made in due time will be refunded. Substitutions (another person working within the same organisation who attends in place of an attendee who has already registered and paid for the event/seminar but cannot actually attend) may be made at any time up to the commencement of the event/seminar, although if the substitution is announced to STEP Geneva less than 48 hours before the event/seminar, an updated name badge, attendee list etc cannot be guaranteed.
By signing up for the event/seminar, you agree that your name, surname and the name of your company may be shared with participants of the event/seminar, sponsors and/or speakers.
Disputes: The court of competent jurisdiction is Geneva which shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes arising out of or in connection with the event/seminar unless any obligatory legal provision confers exclusive jurisdiction on any other court.
The price does not include VAT.
Applicable law and place of jurisdiction:
1. The event arrangement shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with Swiss Law.
2. The court of competent jurisdiction in Geneva which shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes arising out of or
